Welcome to BJJBlogs.com. This site is dedicated to finding and promoting the best BJJ stories on the web. Since we haven’t released the site publicly yet, chances are, if you are here, you are a blogger or webmaster of some sort. Well, first off, let us say that our goal is to popularize your blog and send you lots of traffic! We are NOT trying to rip off your content. As you can see, this site is still getting off the ground. It took us forever to get wordpress installed, and now we are working on the rest of the site. We are still having some problems. Sometimes, entire posts are syndicated here. Sometimes, there is no description at all. We are trying to fix that. When we get things running properly, each post should have a title, a short description, and a link directly to your blog or website right off of the front page. The idea is to showcase the post here, then have the readers Visit Your Blog to read the entire article. Unfortunately, we suck at PHP, so we are having a hard time getting wordpress to do this. The first problem is that all the stories show up as “Submitted by <name>”. We know we didn’t write the post. We don’t want to take credit. This is a problem we are trying to fix. We are sorry about that. We would like it to say something like, “Found on <YOUR BLOG>“. Then, people can click on the blog name and go directly to your site. Once we learn how to edit the PHP to make it do this, we will. The second problem is that sometimes it displays the entire post. We DO NOT want to do that. We don’t want to take your content. We would like people to see see the link here, then VISIT YOUR SITE to read the story. Think DIGG. Think Drudge Report. They link to current stories, then send visitors to the actual web sites to read them. Thats what we want to do. THIS IS GOOD FOR YOU for a few reasons:
If you know anything about search engine optimization, you know that backlinks are a huge factor in increasing the visibility of your blog in search engines. This site is designed to give you Tons of Backlinks. FREE. We do NOT use nofollow or noindex tags, so you get the MAXIMUM BENEFIT from all of our links. And we do NOT request reciprocal back links from you. So, you get all the benefit of our links without having to send any link juice our way. Also, we have NO ADVERTISING on this site, and don’t make any money from it. If costs increase in the future, we might take on some advertisers to help pay our expenses, but our goal is simple - make a cool place to find info about BJJ. If you do NOT want your blog syndicated, please just let us know. We will Remove Your Blog immediately. We only syndicate blogs we like, and we only syndicate blogs that WANT to be syndicated. So, if you don’t want us to link to your blog, please let us know, and we will be happy to Delete Your Blog from our database. That said, we hope to make this site a resource for the community. We want this to be a place where people can find out about Cool New Blogs, and a way to help deserving blogs get the attention and traffic they have earned.
